These beautiful straw bags are handwoven for over 48 hours by women from the Mocana Tribe. They are located in a small town called Usiacurí, in the north region of Colombia 🇨🇴 The material is Iraca Palm Straw, which is locally sourced. The palm leaves are carefully processed and then dyed in vibrant colors. The artisans weave the wired structures using a variety of traditional stitches.
